  • Licence – what is included?

    On purchasing you will get a licence "Username" and "Password" [online and also emailed to you] which you can use to download the software and subsequent updates [or "activate" the software if you're using a trial licence.  An installation CD is also available as an option [$10]. Every ESET software licence includes ...
    • a licence to use the software on the number of computers licenced for the duration of the licence term
    • software "updates" [sometimes called "signatures"]
    • software "upgrades".  When ESET releases a new version of the same product with enhancements or fixes you can download and install the new version.
    • Phone and email support, provided by the local distributor Chillisoft.
  • Support

    Free support is provided during the licence term. Please see this page for all the support options.
  • Licence term and renewal

    Just prior to the expiry of the licence term we'll email you an invitation to renew/extend your licence for a further term. The renewal cost per year is approx 70% of the new 1 year price.
  • Invoice / Receipt

    Following purchase online you will see a page confirming your purchase which you can print if you wish.  We'll also email you a formal Tax Invoice / Receipt within 2 hours during business hours or, if your purchase is outside business hours then within 2 hours of the next Auckland business day.  Please contact our accounts team if you have any questions.
  • How to convert Trial to Full licence?

    During the trial period you'll be emailed two invitations to buy a full licence.  The product will also "pop-up" an invitation.

    If you click on either the link in the email or the link in the product you'll be taken to a secure purchase page in our e-shop where you can choose a licence term and make the purchase.

    After purchase you'll be given [on-screen and by email] a new licence Username and Password which you'll need to enter into your software to activate the full commercial licence.  If you get stuck please contact us.

  • Non-Profit-Organisation pricing

    Discounts are available for most schools and genuine charities.  Please contact us to discuss.
  • HOW TO – buy Business Edition licences?

    Because of the range of solutions available and to ensure that you get the right product(s) for your needs Business Edition products are not available for purchase online.  Please contact us to discuss your needs. ESET Business Edition solutions are also available from leading IT service providers and systems integrators throughout NZ and Oceania.
